Gelateria K2 is located in Rome. It is run by the family of Walter Sciarrino, who learned from his father the secrets of making the ice cream according to the traditions of Sicily, the motherland of the Italian gelato. Everything is absolutely handmade and genuine, being the raw materials of the highest quality. This policy made of Gelateria K2, in over 3 decades, a landmark for thousands of fans and gourmets. Either standing at the bar counter or comfortably seated at the tables, a prompt and courteous service will allow you to enjoy an incredible variety of tasty and imaginative ice creams. Over 30 varieties of ice cream will satisfy the most demanding palates. Not to be missed the exquisite CREMOLATE, similar to GRANITA (water-ice), but with much more fruit inside (up to 15 flavors including Almond, Pistachio di Bronte, Mulberry of the Etna, Figs, Melon, Coconut, Strawberry, Lemon). The fresh fruit salad with ice cream or yoghurt is greatly appreciated by clients. The ice-cream with fruit are made without milk, with very few exceptions, to keep the taste of the fruit pulp. The showcases (a joy both for the eyes and the palate!) are filled with countless delights: traditional and creative cakes, zuccotti, semifreddi, mousses, (all of which are also available in single portions). In the summer period, it is open throughout the week up to 2.00 a.m.
