WELCOME Located in a seventeenth-century building, decorated with the Bees coat of arms, symbol of the powerful Barberini family, the Hotel Santa Prassede is located on the top of the Esquiline hill, the highest point in Rome, a few meters from the marvelous papal basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, chosen by the current pope as his burial place. We are in the enchanting Rione Monti, the first of the districts, a picturesque and evocative area of the historic centre, between the Colosseum, the Imperial Forums and Termini station. The building with the warm colors of the Roman tradition overlooks the church of Santa Prassede, a small hidden jewel, which gives its name to the street of the same name, paved with Sanpietrini, characteristic for centuries of the road surface of Rome. Our small hotel wishes to offer its guests an intimate environment and welcoming hospitality with a family feel, with particular care and attention to detail. Our rooms all have their own identity and personality. The lights and designer decorations create an atmosphere full of charm and kindness with their colours. To create a simple and functional space we chose to have the furniture created by hand. The same philosophy inspired the choice to keep part of the wooden furnishings and use vintage armchairs and chairs, appreciating their individual character. Particular attention is paid to cleaning. Although different from each other, both in style and in decorative furnishings, all rooms have the same comforts: private bathroom with new shower, desk or work surface, hairdryer, courtesy kit complete with soap, shower gel, cap, toothbrush, slippers, towels, face, bidet and mat, independent air conditioning and heating, Internet TV or LCD flat-screen Smart TV, 32 and 50 inches, mattresses with topper, safe, courtesy water, fast fiber optic WiFi connection free and daily cleaning. In the Suite with King Size Jacuzzi tub, our guests can enjoy a romantic or simply relaxing stay. Our single rooms. with the queen-size bed they are designed with particular love to give the customer the possibility of using the space optimally.
