Natalino & Maurizio
About
“Natalino& Maurizio”started off as a family-run tavern in Rome in 1934, originally founded as a Osteria or tavern by Natalino and Maurizio’s grandparents, nonno Natale and nonna Ermelinda (born in 1880). Like any family-run business of the time, the first-born, Armando, took over the tavern, which slowly began to become a real "Osteria with kitchen", also thanks to the authentic, rustic but expert, hands of Lina. Lina, who was Armando's wife and the mother of Natalino and Maurizio(after whom the restaurant is now named), was the chef and the creator of the real Roman dishes of this place. Havingreached the third generation of the family, “Natalino& Maurizio” is now a restaurant under every aspect, whilst maintaining that familiar atmosphere. In line with its historical and folkloristic tradition, the Restaurant "Natalino& Maurizio" continues to succeed in distinguishing itself for the quality of its food and the typical Roman traditional menu handed down from mamma Lina.
