Orto di Roma is managed by the agricultural social cooperative Parsec Agri Cultura born in 2014. The main activity is the cultivation of seasonal vegatables according to a well-defined natural cycle. The vegatable garden is about 45,000 square meters. There is a little orchard with 40 specimens. The cooperative adopts production techniques with very low environmental impact; In fact, for the fight against parasites, the cooperative has chosen the use of natural plant protection products such as neem oil and pyrethroids.
