Adjacent to a contemporary Franciscan Sanctuary, which was presumably the adjoining convent, the hostel is housed in a historic building dating back to 1400. Particularly impressive is the cloister, surrounded by an arcade recalling the characteristic arches of the old town of Cava de 'Tirrenia short walk from bus stops on the ss 18, thoroughfare between Naples (50km) and Salerno (10km), just 600m from the railway station and about 50km from Naples airport, the hostel is located in a strategic point or at one end of the old "village Scacciaventi "which takes its name and which is the oldest tourist center of town close to the Amalfi coast.
