Built entirely of local stone, the structure is in part derived from the rock that extends to the sea. A true oasis of peace nestled between the Amalfi Coast and Sorrento coasts. The fresh air, the cool waters of the sources,the green of the woods, breathtaking panoramic views make it a unique place in the world. On the top of the mountain "Pendolo", from which the old farmhouse takes its name, is placed an iron votive cross symbol. Vines and chestnut gently accompany the visitor in his excursions. There is a spectacular view of the bay, which opens on the historical shipyard of Castellammare di Stabia, the islands and the Vesuvius, with its beautiful Pompei. Down the hill you can reach the other side, with the church and the convent of Belvedere. And it's possible to reach the sea through an ancient street lined with old trees,then there is the lonely and quiet Quisisana Castle, the summer residence of the Angevins. Another path leads to a small hill where stands the majestic castle of Pino, once a stronghold Coast, who later became a convent and then a church. But the most striking and difficult path, the "Tese", is what leads to Mount Faito, and then to the church of s. Michael the Archangel, the destination of many pilgrimages in the past.
