In the Crete Senesi, at the heart of a working organic farm, the traditional farmhouse is divided into two independent apartments sleeping a total of six people. Both are beautifully furnished with family pieces. The smaller one, La Casetta, is an open space for two. There is a double bed, a living area and a well-equipped kitchen with table. The bathroom has a shower. You can enjoy the summer sunset from the covered terrace. There is access to a large garden with a barbecue area and a table for dining. Guests can help themselves to the produce in our organic veggie patch. This is an ideal place in which to enjoy the countryside in spring and autumn, far from the bustle of a city. The focus of farm activity is on the breeding of thoroughbred horses. Mares and foals graze in the fields and horses train on the farm’s sand track. Situated within the Ombrone River valley, you can enjoy walks along its banks and in the surrounding woods. Here you will discover an unspoilt landscape of cultivated fields, abandoned farms, and many species of wild animals and birds. There are many good restaurants and trattorias serving magnificent local wines. The Rapolano spas are just a few minutes’ drive away; our guests have discounted admission. Cultural cities such as Siena, Arezzo and Florence are within easy reach.
