"Castello di Starda" is a small and charming medieval village located in the Chianti Classico area in the heart of Tuscany. Fattoria has 13 apartments: 8 in the heart of the village and 5 outside the living unit around a swimming pool available for all guests. The apartments maintain the ancient characteristics: fireplaces in stone, timber ceiling, cotto floors and each one of the accommodations has breathtaking views on the surrounding vineyards. The key word in Starda is relax: walking or horseback walking are a must to relax and take comfort from the hustle and bustle of city life. Since 1966 Castello di Starda produces from his 8 acres of vineyards the Chianti Classico Docg wine, vin santo, olive oil and grappa. In the place where once stood the mill has been converted into a tavern where you can taste the typical dishes of the Tuscan tradition. The "Osteria" is the ideal place for special events, corporate dinners and refreshments.
