About

Esagono Monello is a family-run Guest House located in an ancient building dating from the early 1800s, in the heart of the old town of Avola, Sicily, just a few miles away from Syracuse and Noto. Avola is famous abroad especially for the Avola Mandorla, the perfect owl to think of Antonello's female faces, as defined by Sicilian writer Leonardo Sciascia, and for the Nero d’Avola, the ancient vine, known and exported all over the world for their unique and unmistakable flavors. The house, named after the unique hexagonal plant of Avola, lays in a very convenient location, just off the main road, Corso Vittorio Emanuele, on the corner with Piazza dei Tre Leoni. The house, which has two storeys, can accommodate up to 10 people and consists of: • 4 large bedrooms. • 1 living room with sofa bed. • 1 spacious, fully-equipped kitchen. • 4 bathrooms. • 3 balconies and a little terrace. The rooms are spacious and bright, quiet and silent, and face a typical Sicilian courtyard.
