The hostel is built inside an old Franciscan monastery in the territory of Pescosansonesco (PE). The structure, entirely made of stone, is located on a rocky promontory, which is one km far from the village, but is visually isolated and offers a panoramic view facing the mountain group of the Majella.The hostel can receive 24 people, with accommodation in apartments for 4-6-8 people with bathroom. The structure is ideal for graduation parties, birthdays and more; for group activities like courses, community meetings, retreats, etc. The building also includes the church of Santa Maria in Coll'Angeli, where you can admire a sixteenth-century altar with sculptures of the time. The church can accommodate conferences, seminars, concerts, weddings, religious ceremonies, and has also a large churchyard and a space originally intended to be the sacristy, where now there is the canteen.Pescosansonesco is 500 meters above sea level, on the slopes of Monte Picca in Abruzzo (National Park of Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga).At about 300 mt from the monastery, on the way to the center of the village, there is an ancient Roman Source, with masks from which flows spring water.At about 800 meters there is the Sanctuary of the Blessed Nunzio Sulprizio, protector of disabled and victims of labor.
