"Borgo Borghese" guest house is located in Sant 'Alessio Siculo within the beautiful Val d' Agro just 10 km from Taormina. We are in the countryside at 600 Mt. from the sea. Inside the property there are two buildings, one is the main house where the owners live and in the other one there are two independent apartments. Each flat is composed by a patio with garden table and chairs, a fully equipped kitchen with a dining table for 4 people, a bathroom with shower, a bedroom with a double bed and a smaller bedroom with a bunk bed. Each flat is suitable for 2/4 persons. Ideal location for families or couples. Renting both apartments is perfect for groups of 8 persons. The apartments are situated just outside the fisherman’s village of Sant’ Alessio Siculo where you can find supermarket, bank, pharmacy, post office restaurants, bars and train / bus station. You can easily reach the main cultural and naturalistic attractions such us the Mount Etna, The Alcatara Gorges, the medieval village of Savoca (where the “Godfather” movie was shot), the city of Catania and the city of Syracuse.The sounds, smells and colors of the Sicilian countryside come to life here and it's easy to break out of chaos and stressful everyday life. The mild climate, the quiet place and the nearby cultural attractions make “ Borgo Borghese” a pleasant accommodation where to spend your holiday. Here you can discover the pleasure of spending long evenings sipping a glass of local wine enjoying the sing of crickets and cicadas, and at the same time the refreshing sea breeze. Close to the holiday house the guests can find the owner’s garden, where fresh and seasonal products are planted and they can taste them rediscovering the authenticity. Moreover the guests could use the bikes for visiting the area following the path going to the beach from one side and to the valley from the other side. On request, we can organize interesting walking following the old Sicilian country lane. On summer period it is possible to organize boat trips.
