Museum of Wine and its Regionsl Wine BarThe Museum of Wine and its Regional Wine Bar were created to develop and widespread the culture of wine and wine tourism as an important tool to promote Sardinian territory. It started its activity in 1999. The museum is in Berchidda, an ancient village located in central Gallura near Monte Limbara. The area is reach in hills and plains, pastures and wide vineyards. Berchidda is one of the vocational producing territories of the famous Vermentino di Gallura docg, one of the main autochthonous Sardinian white grapes.Sardinian wine culture is analyzed linking past and future through a visiting path with ancient tools and producing processes description. This offers visual information to introduce visitors to the tasting of various regional wines matched with typical local food. This tasting process can be associated with a winery tour to discover territory and meeting wine makers.
