Strategically located near Lazio and Tuscany this is a peaceful base for many exciting trips to cities like Rome, Perugia, Norcia, Assisi, Orvieto, the seaside or lakes! If your aim is to be in nature, you may treat yourself locally to horseback riding and painting courses, vineyard visits and walks or bike rides in the countryside. Built in the early nineteenth century and set in six hectares of green grounds, this secluded house is only an eight minute walk from a small medieval village called Giove and its ducal castle. The country house has exclusive use of the pool and adjacent garden space - perfect for the children to play and run in safety. The house is divided into two apartments with two bedrooms each, one on the ground floor and one on the top floor with separate entries. If you book this listing, you will have the whole house (consisting of two apartments), garden and pool to yourselves. There are two mountain bikes available, a table tennis table and a swing in case you have children. The ground floor apartment boasts a brick oven in the kitchen and a portico where you may bbq your favourite food and dine al fresco with a panoramic view. As you may see from the floor plan one of the bedrooms leads to the other. Pick the top floor apartment’s master bedroom if you wish to wake up with the most charming view of the house in the morning. The top floor apartment also has a dining table outside as you may see in the pictures but the portico downstairs is large enough for everyone! Please bear in mind this is a country house, therefore there might be ants racing to steal your breadcrumbs or bees enjoying their flower nectar in the garden as well as mosquitos in the summer!
