The managers of the Holiday Residence Rifugio are the Swiss couple Matthias and Irene Winkler. They live in Orosei, Sardinia, since August 2001. The apartment block has been extended in winter 2013. The 14 apartments and one to three room are built with first class materials and are attractively furnished, with TV, WiFi internet connection, and most of them with cooling and heating facilities. Surrounded by beautiful beaches, canyons and mountains." The Gulf of Orosei is said to be one of the most interesting holiday areas in Sardinia. It is most famous for its multi-shaped sandy shores along the coastline, its small coves with dreamy wetlands in the background, but also for its charming mountain regions with their picturesque villages and imposing gorges. For those who have an interest in history Sardinia has a wealth of archaeological sites that show clear, tangible evidence of its ancient past civilizations. A 70m2 outdoor swimmingpool and for the evenings of our mediterranean mild winters, we have made available for our guests a finnish sauna combined with infrared lamps. A comfortable cycle lane connects our Residence to the Marina di Orosei, through a lovely play area for children, a secondary lane runs parallel to the river Cedrino. Located along the Sardinian eastern coast on the homonym Gulf, the village of Orosei is about an hour's drive from Olbia and is ca. 1 kilometer away from the beach, which is 8 km long. Several pizzerias and restaurants, cafes, shops and boutiques can be reached on foot within a few minutes from the Residence, and make the stay pleasant for those who do not want to give up the pleasures of shopping. Here in the sunny South you can stay outside most of the time of the day: you will love your terrasse and the part of the grass with the deck chairs. Alltogether we have 14 apartments in the same Residence. Also 1- 3 and even a 4 room apartment. You will be amazed and suprised that our beaches - even in the high season - are not crowded at all. And find in Spring time wonderful sunny days on our wild and natural sandy beaches.
