Spiaggia Di Berchida
About
Spiaggia di Berchida, located on the northeastern coast of Sardinia in the municipality of Siniscola, is a pristine half-moon of five kilometres of fine white sand dunes backed by centuries‑old junipers and Mediterranean scrub. The beach is famed for its crystal‑clear turquoise waters that gently lap a shallow seabed, making it an ideal spot for families and swimmers of all ages. Guests can relax in the calm, sandy shore while enjoying a variety of local amenities such as a kiosk‑bar, beach equipment rentals, canoe and pedalo services, and ample parking space. Beyond its beach frontage, Berchida offers a network of natural attractions. The dunes of Capo Comino and S’Ena e Sa Chitta lie to the north, extending the dune scenery across three kilometres of fine white sand and a historic lighthouse area. Downward, the secluded Oasis of Biderosa features a coastal forest, a small pond, and sightings of pink flamingos and herons in its surrounding lagoons. Nearby fishing villages such as Santa Lucia and the popular resort La Caletta provide additional dining and lodging options. The beach remains a quiet, low‑pressure destination even during the busiest months, letting visitors enjoy the Mediterranean glow from sunrise to sunset. Its combination of natural beauty, outdoor activities, and accessible facilities makes it a must‑visit for both nature lovers and those seeking a peaceful escape from the hustle of city life.
