Su Barchile Restaurant

Located in the historic center of Orosei, Su Barchile was born in 1977 thanks to a beautiful bet (not as a joke!) by Maria Loi and her husband Pietro Chessa, already owners of a well-known bar in the village and frequented by tourists from all over the world and great connoisseurs of raw materials and local cuisine. Over time, the management of the business passed to his sons Giuseppe and Antonella: the Son in charge as restaurant manager but also for the vegetable garden, the vineyard, the olive grove and the breeding of pigs, the Daughter in charge as professional sommelier and administrative, commercial and marketing manager. The restaurant has an informal 80-seat room reserved to the pizzeria and a second more formal and elegant 50-seat room reserved to the a la carte restaurant. During the summer only, there is also an open terrace on the 1st floor, surrounded by plants overlooking the historic center of the village. The only restaurant in Orosei selected in The Michelin Guide.
