It has a large private pool which is set in a stunning elevated position overlooking the house and meadow. Matilda is well suited to families, with a children's large playframe and trampoline available for guests use. The pretty hill town of Penna is just 5 minutes drive from the house and provides local services including a great pizzeria. The nearest large town is Sarnano, which has a thermal spa and is a ski resort in the winter. Good restaurants are located near the house in San Angelo in Pontano and Monte San Martino. The unbroken sand beaches of the Adriatic coast are a short drive away. The nearest resort being the marina town of Porto San Giorgio, just 40 minutes away.
