La Locanda delle Marionette is a curious place, it is a restaurant just by chance, it was designed as a stage for 150 puppets who wanted to show off and here is the result ....... the atmosphere of a country house, a few minutes away from the center of Turin, that more and more is becoming a place of art, music and culture, located in the green hills of Turin, the Locanda delle Marionette is an open door on the treasures of the nearby Monferrato such as the Abbey of Vezzolano, the shrines of Don Bosco and St. Domenico Savio. The building has been restored with love and care to preserve and faithfully reconstruct the original features.The atmosphere is friendly, it is a place where, surrounded by a surreal atmosphere you can eat, have a coffee or an ice cream, read a book, drink a good wine or champagne of selected producers, listen to music in the beautiful garden.THE RESTAURANTOn the ground floor, beside the coffee Shop, which is not a conventional coffee shop, but the first scenario on which the puppets overlook, there is a room for conversation and reading, called Sala del Giudice for the presence of a large court table of eighteen’s century. In the basement under brick vaults there is a space with a Parisian Rôtisserie to cook meat and vegetables in full sight.The food prepared by Chef Davide, celebrates the perfect combination of the rich tradition of the territory with innovation, giving a way to provide guests with authentic flavours, fresh and defined, sometimes strong, more delicate, as are the things that your remember for a life time.
