The winery is situated in Mezzocorona in the heart of the Piana Rotaliana an area traditionally dedicated to wine growing due to its climatic and geological characteristics forming a perfect terroir for the great Teroldego varietal. The “Cantina” is first recorded as a farm and winery in the 1400's. It passed through some of the most important families of Trentino and eventually in 1860 Andreas Martinelli founded the current brand and started the production of quality wine which was exported throughout Europe gaining recognition and winning awards. Today the fifth generation of the Martinelli family are engaged in large-scale restoration projects in order to continue the tradition of fine winemaking.
