Casa del Grivò is the ideal place for reconnect to the nature, slow down the frenetic rhyhtms of everyday living and dive in a beautiful reality characterized by the calm and the peace. Casa del Grivò is more than a residence, it brings with it the experience and the history of local tradition and the care of the service that we offer. The House is a typical farmhouse build at the beginning of ‘900. It’s situated near a hamlet among vineyards and sweet chestnut tree woods in the Oriental Alps of Friuli, 18 Km from Udine, at an altitude of 200 meters (650 ft). It’s built using local stones and wood and we have renovated it using natural materials, colours and varnishes, already twenty years ago. It is collocated in a strategic place, in the middle of the Valley of Faedis, and it offers a vast repertoire of walks and excursions to discover the surroundings: the castles of Zucco and Cuccagna, the mountain cottages of Porzus and Monte Mia, the twin waterfalls and the source of Grivò river... and it is close to the most important centers of nord-est Italy.
