In 2005, in the heart of Verona, in one of the city's oldest buildings, **L’Acova del Frate** was born. A dream brought to life by Massimo, a philosophy student who began his journey serving small bites, horse meat, and fine wines. In 2025, a major renovation marks a new chapter: a new **Alcova**, designed to offer the utmost comfort to our friends and guests. Our recipes are a journey through authentic flavors, prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients. Our bread, homemade with slow-fermented organic flours, perfectly complements our specialty: horse meat, cooked according to Veronese tradition.
