Gardaland Park
About
Gardaland Park, located in Castelnuovo del Garda on the northern shore of Lake Garda, is one of Europe’s oldest and most frequented amusement parks. Opened in 1975, the park spans roughly 64 acres (about 260 000 m²) and boasts 37 rides and attractions – including seven world‑class roller coasters, three spectacular water rides, and a host of family‑friendly fun. Operated by Merlin Entertainments, Gardaland has earned a reputation for thrilling experiences such as the Blue Tornado suspended‑loop coaster and the high‑adrenaline SkyTitan coasters, while still offering gentle‑themed areas for younger guests. Beyond the rides, the park offers themed lands – Fantasy Kingdom, Peppa Pig Land, and the recently opened Dragon Empire – each delivering immersive storytelling, themed attractions, and live entertainment. At sunset, guests can wander to the Flying Island observation tower, which offers panoramic views of Lake Garda, or join a character‑meeting in the park’s colourful stores. With a median daily attendance of nearly three million visitors, Gardaland is a top‑choice destination for families, thrill‑seekers, and adult adventure lovers visiting Northern Italy.
