About

The museum hosts Tipografia Arche Scaligere’s heritage: established in 1934 by the acquisition of Tipografia G. Zannoni, which operated in Verona from the second half of 1800 onwards. The heritage mainly consists in the historic printing machinery, movable type, various special equipment and it includes the knowledge of the typographic, litographic and calcographic printing arts. Both enterprises have been run by families which inherited printing as a traditional art, passing it generation by generation. In 2006 it was transformed from business to cultural association with the goal of protecting our heritage, along with other artisanal enterprises who joined venture.
