Starting from Panaia, a hamlet of Spilinga, you walk through the Cala- brian countryside until you enter the wood full of Mediterranean scents and suggestions, then descending into the mi- croclimate of the Fiuma- ra, a panorama of rare beauty. The route con- tinues up to the old mill and the natural pool of the Rua stream, where it will be possible to cool o and observe the fau- na and flora of one of the most characteristic places of the Calabrian rivers. Then going up to the Cuppari farm, in the shade of a splendid centuries-old oak, a rich tasting of these ancient and genuine flavors will be oered, fundamental for what is now called the Mediterranean Diet. Cor- diality and availability will not be lacking in this mo- ment of relaxation after the walk.
