Trabucco of Punta Santa Croce is a centuries-old traditional fisching machine and has been officially recognized as a cultural and historical heritage from Apulia Region. Built in ancient times, with complex techniques but from simple folk, Trabucco of Gargano arose from the need to fish keeping both feet firmly planted on the ground, especially during unpredictable and violent sea storms. On this Trabucco, we organize fishing experiences in wich every visitor will be able to help “Trabucco Masters” (guardians and experienced fieschermen able to build a trabucco and fish on it) during some amazing and unique fishing sessions.
