Our story begins almost two centuries ago (1820) in Farnese, a small town in the province of Viterbo, a few steps from Lake Bolsena, when Giovan Battista Gentili began producing extra virgin olive oil using stone millstones pulled by mules. Since 1820 our structure has been profoundly renewed, maintaining however that loyalty to craftsmanship that has always been our strong point. Respect for tradition remains at the top of our list of priorities, because that is where the quality of the extra virgin olive oil we produce comes from. In fact, our olive trees are fed not only by the warm Mediterranean atmosphere, but also by the wealth of knowledge that the Gentili family has kept and transmitted for hundreds of years.
