The B&B “Il Peperino” is located in Via delle Caiole, Viterbo, in the heart of the Medieval Quarter of San Pellegrino. It is a characteristic medieval building recently restored and equipped with all the conveniences of modern life, including internet.The restoration was carried out so that the historical nature and charm of the building was maintained, and yet includes all the conveniences required for modern living. All the important monuments of the city are within a few minutes walk, including the Papal Palace, the charming and historical Piazza San Pellegrino, Palazzo dei Priori, and the Sanctuary of Santa Rosa, the patron saint of Viterbo.By car or bus it is easy to visit the famous thermal baths of popes, a huge spa where you can enjoy being pampered.The house, built of blocks of lava stone (peperino), is on three levels: the ground floor area is at your disposal to relax at the end of the day, perhaps in front of the stone fireplace and enjoy a glass of wine!Breakfast is served in this beautiful room or, if you prefer, can also be served in your room. A wide selection of drinks, teas, coffee, milk, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, croissants and jams are available.The guest rooms, en suite, are on the middle floor and have been designed to offer every comfort to make your holiday enjoyable. They have been decorated with great attention to detail, so that you will really feel at home. They are bright, spacious and quiet so that you can really relax.How to reach usFrom the A1 exit Orte, taking the Viterbo direction , (highway) exit Viterbo, Terme Road.From the direction of Aurelia/Rome-Civitavecchia, exit at Tarquinia, taking the Viterbo direction.From the Aurelia/Livorno-Grosseto direction, exit at Montalto di Castro, taking the Viterbo direction.Once in Viterbo, go to Piazza del Plebiscito (Town Hall), along Via San Lorenzo, turn left in Via Cardinale La Fontaine and immediately right in Piazza San Carluccio.For parking there are two options:There is a parking facility close to the train station, Porta Romana, just a five minute walk away and is free of charge.Sacrario: this is a parking area where you must pay a small fee during working hours and is a five minute walk away.For those arriving by train, the station of Porta Roma is located five minutes away.
