Art gallery PUTTI* presents unique handcrafted jewellery of exceptional quality by the best Latvian and international contemporary artists. Made of silver and gold, precious and semi precious stones, mammoth ivory, ebony etc., these original jewellery creations may be observed as art and design objects. The gallery was established in the year 2000. It is located in the specially designed spacious premises in the Art Nouveau building designed in 1907 by an architect Paul Mandelshtam (1872 – 1941). *Putti (Italian, plural) – a figure of a podgy human baby, almost always male, often naked and having wings, found especially in Italian Renaissance art
