Restaurant's name is not accidental at all - "Melna Bite" in Latvian means Black Bee. The bee is a labor of love, a symbol of wealth and prosperity, and not for nothing ancient Egyptian pharaohs granted the bee a royal status symbol. Among its hive sisters, the black bee stands out with unique and independent individuality. "Melna Bite" is restaurant with farmer's cuisine. The restaurant is decorated in the style of large living room with large windows, comfortable furniture, minimalist shapes, tasteful lamps and, of course, bees. They are everywhere here, but just enough to not be too much. Through the restaurant hall busy-as-a-bee waitresses are flying and creating a lively atmosphere. And most importantly, their good knowledge of the menu and ability to explain both the content and presentation is present whenever needed.
