The picturesque Lake Saldus is situated at the foot of several hills and Saldus Hillfort and is close to the town centre. The lake covers 11.9 hectares. It has a beach with a separate swimming area for children, two beach volleyball courts, a playground, and a summer café. There is a changing cabin, a WC, a pier, a boat ramp and a floating enclosure for swimming lessons.
