Our hostel is located in the city of Strenči, Latvia, a 90-minute drive from Riga International Airport and 30 km from the Estonian border. The hostel is on a main highway that connects Latvia's major cities Riga, Sigulda, Cesis, and Valmiera, and continues to Estonia.Nestled among untouched natural forests and situated near the Gauja River, Strenči is a serene rustic town that has a surprising number of activities for the outgoing traveler--including hunting, fishing, hiking, swimming, sunbathing, and skiing and ice skating in the wintertime. The rooms are a 15-minute walk from the local shopping center, bus stop, and train station.
