The wooden pavilion "Kupeta," where "Kablys + Jūra" is currently located, was built in 1968 and designed by Albinas Čepys, the legendary chief architect of Palanga City. Known for its cultural events in the 1970s and 1980s, including a notable exhibition by Danish cartoonist Herluf Bidstrup, the pavilion combines traditional half-timbered style with modern elements such as floor-to-ceiling windows. Today, "Kupeta" has been transformed into a vibrant cultural hub, hosting various musical events, exhibitions, and other activities while maintaining its historical significance.
