About

The Jonas Mekas Visual Arts Center was opened in 2007 by the godfather of avantgarde film,Lithuanian-American Jonas Mekas. It is a place for both living artists and retrospective surveys of works from all over the world. The JMVAC features cutting edge exhibitions, film screenings, installations and performances, with an added focus on the Fluxus movement founded by Lithuanian George Maciunas.
