Birgu Candlelight Company is set in the heart of Birgu in Malta. Our studio shop can be found within the ancient walls of the Church of St. Lawrence, the first Collegiate Church of the Knights of St. John, dating back as far as the 16th Century. Our shop is situated below the steps of the church. The building has a triple vaulted ceiling, and the ancient stone work and ceilings having been fully restored, give an insight into the architectural style of that time. We handcraft scented candles, room diffusers and wax melts on the premises. They are made of eco friendly natural wax, every one with a great scent and a Maltese theme, ideal for anyone looking for a quality souvenir. We offer two hour scented candle making workshops on occasional days throughout the year, places are limited to six people per workshop and booking in advance is highly recommended.
