About
Hastings Gardens is a historic public park perched on the bastions of Valletta's Old City, offering panoramic views of the Grand Harbour, Floriana, and the twin towns of Msida and Sliema. The gardens, laid out on the top of St. John’s and St. Michael’s Bastions, preserve a blend of landscaped lawns, arbors and intriguing monuments—including the elegant Sette Giugno monument, a khachkar gifted by the Armenian community, and a bronze statue commemorating Francis, Marquis of Hastings. Visitors can stroll along the winding paths, admire the city’s skyline, and enjoy quiet moments in this green oasis amid the city’s medieval walls.
