Kisra is inspired by the typical Maltese Snack Bar and serves a selection of food and beverage items that are usually found in these Snack Bars. The key difference of Kisra is that the food is prepared by a team of chefs that have been established in some of the most important restaurants on the island. The name of the Snack Bar comes from the Maltese expression "Kisra Ħobż" which literally translated means "a break of bread". The typical habit has been for locals to tear Maltese bread by hand, spread some tomatoes on it and and then drizzle some Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
