St. Peter’s Pool
About
St. Peter’s Pool is a beautifully secluded natural bay on the southeastern coast of Malta, situated at the tip of the Delimara Peninsula. The turquoise, clear water and rugged cliffs make it a favored spot for swimming, cliff‑diving, and snorkeling, while the surrounding cliffs are adorned with warning signs to keep visitors safe from falling debris. The area is accessible by walking along a narrow coastal path from nearby Marsaxlokk, but cars are discouraged due to a tight access road and limited parking. Visitors can also explore a number of historic landmarks within walking distance, including the 19th‑century Delimara Lighthouse, the maritime heritage of Marsaxlokk fishing village, and the archaeological sites of Tas‑Silġ.
