St Agnes Bed & Breakfast is in the village of Xaghra on the beautiful Mediterranean island of Gozo in the Maltese Archipelago. Situated in a quiet, typically Gozitan alleyway, the accommodation offers peace and serenity all year round yet it is only a 5 minute walk from the village square with a multitude of quality restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. There are 2 guest suites on the first floor of our property. The King Room has a king-sized bed, en suite shower room, heating/air conditioning, Satellite TV with 600+ channels, free Wi-Fi, private balcony with distant sea views, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer and quality towels and linen. The large Twin Room can be configured as two single beds or as a king-sized bed, and there is a child's bed available for a family. This room benefits from a full en suite bathroom with a heater for Winter, Satellite TV, air conditioning/heating, free Wi-Fi, tea and coffee making facilities, a hair dryer and quality linen and towels. We have our own south-facing private pool and deck area with a BBQ for the use of guests. There is an honesty bar on the guest floor with water, beer and wine available. We have 2 bicycles and safety helmets for hire, along with local information guides and maps. We also have a travel cot for guests with a baby/toddler. We pride ourselves on our breakfasts which are tailored to guests' requirements. Breakfast options include full cooked English, Continental, scrambled eggs with or without smoked salmon, omelettes, poached eggs and bacon, cereals, toast, bread and yogurt. Vegetarian/vegan/special diets can be catered for. We pride ourselves on the quality of our breakfasts, and wherever possible, we serve the freshest local ingredients. We source our free-range eggs in the village, cheese from our neighbour, hand-made preserves from a farmer's market, bread from a local bakery and fruit and vegetables from Gozitan farmers. We can provide free transfers to and from the ferry terminal in Mgarr, and arrange transfers from Malta International Airport to the ferry terminal at Cirkewwa (extra charge). If you want to hire a car, we will happily assist you with this if required. There are bus-stops in the village square, a 5 minute walk away.
