The 18th‑century Catholic church sits atop a unique stack of collected rocks and ancient ships, and houses a small museum that showcases a remarkable collection of Baroque paintings, votive icons and an extraordinary tapestry embroidered by local artist Jacinta Kunić‑Mijović. Visitors can wander through the church’s nave, admire the glass‑roofed central hall of the museum, and learn about the island’s maritime legend – the annual fašinada ritual in which locals throw rocks into the sea to honor a 1452 icon of the Madonna. With its blend of history, art and nautical lore, the site offers a quiet escape from the bustle of Kotor and a glimpse into the region’s cultural heritage.
