Over three centuries old, according to some recounts, this bridge was built by the Skadar family Bushati, while other sources state it was built by the Grand Vizier Mehmed-Pasha Sokolovic. For a long time this was the only bridge in Podgorica. It was razed in WWII, and after liberation it was reconstructed and renovated several times.
