Slijs is a beach venue situated in Julianapark, Hoorn. The spot is better known as “Het Schelpenstrandje”. Slijs is Dutch for slice and ice. We mainly serve crunchy pizza’s and italian gelato. But also really good fresh roasted local coffee! homemade brownies, smoothies, panini’s and italian bread. Get yourself comfortable in one of our beanbags and enjoy the water. There’s a swimming platform in the lake where you can jump off and have loads of fun. Have a slijs day!
