Americano Bar & Kitchen is a corner restaurant overlooking the Amstel river, at the edge of the lively 'de Pijp' area. Sophisticated yet approachable, Americano Bar & Kitchen takes inspiration from the Italian neighborhoods of New York, and it's heritage. Showcasing the finest ingredients, Charlie McGregor's seasonal menu pays homage to New York and the city's roots of it's Italian immigrants. McGregor's menus offer a versatile selection of smaller plates and larger composed platters. Guests are encouraged to begin their meal with a variety of antipasti and other small starters to share. Americano's signature dishes include a variety of traditional pastas, grilled meats and a wide selection of sharing dishes for the table. The varied, seasonally inspired menu is complemented by an affordable all-Italian & American wine list and a changing selection of original cocktails. Americano accepts reservations and is open from Monday - Saturday from 17:00. For guests wishing to dine with a larger group, we have an intimate private table.
