Basecamp is a place to spend the night in peace on the coast in a raw area in IJmuiden. Where nature, sea and industry come together between the marina, the beach and the Kennemermeer in the dunes, you’ll find Basecamp. A place that also serves as a base for experimenting with new and sustainable forms of living, energy and food supply. While you enjoy this undisturbed dune area on the coast, you contribute unnoticed to a sustainable experiment. From the Tiny Houses you step directly into the Kennemer dunes. A vast nature reserve that extends all the way to Zandvoort. Extensive hiking and biking trails ensure days of fun in the dunes. In 2 minutes you walk from your Tiny House to the beach of IJmuiden. By bike, car and bus you can easily go to surrounding cities (Haarlem, Bloemendaal aan Zee and Amsterdam). But you can also explore the area by boat. Moor the boat in the neighbouring Marina, cruise along the North Sea and the North Sea Canal from here.
