In 1733 De Blauwe Druif was established in this lively, turbulent neighbourhood. In more recent history De Blauwe Druif had several famous owners, like the bass player/singer Manke Nelis. In 2011 the Haarlemmerstraat and –dijk were proclaimed as the best shopping street of the entire Netherlands. In De Blauwe Druif you can taste de good old fashioned Amsterdam hospitality.
