About
The building where our restaurant is at, used to be a butcher in the 18th century. The previous name of the restaurant was 'Smuiger' because of 2 beautiful tiled fireplaces that in the local tongue are called 'Smuigers'. Nowadays the name reflects the history of the entire building. You are welcome to come in for a hot cup of coffee, lunch, a drink with some bites or a full dinner. We are happy to welcome you at Slager aan de Schans, short walking distance from the famous Zaanse Schans.
