The former Amsterdam Main Post Office is located on the Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal behind the Palace on the Dam. The building was constructed in a mixture of neo-styles, in which mainly neo-Gothic and neo-Renaissance elements were used (also called: Post Office Gothic). It belongs to the Top 100 Dutch UNESCO monuments. Today, Magna Plaza is an attractive covered shopping centre with a food plaza and a variety of shops that are open 7 days a week.
