As our cafe-restaurant is temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 lockdown, we are happy to offer our drinks, cakes, lunch and dinner 'to go' at our Take Away bar. De Balie is a friendly and accessible meetingspace, located near the lively Leidse square in the centre of Amsterdam. De Balie is the right place to work on your laptop in the morning while having an espresso and breakfast, to enjoy an appetizing dinner before going to one of our programs or concerts or to drink a beer, wine or G&T with your friends. Our menu offers nice, homemade dishes for an affordable price. The meat we serve comes exclusively from animals that have had a good life, and we try to use seasonal vegetables as much as possible. Every season we offer different choices on our menu, which always includes creative vegetarian and vegan dishes. De Balie is definitely the right place to organize private dinners, drinks and other enjoyable occasions for large and small groups.
