Hotel Keizershof
About
Our seventeenth‑century canal‑house on Amsterdam’s beloved Keizersgracht is one of the city’s most charming historic hotels. Built in 1672 by architect Jean Godin, the building originally bore the name ‘Blazon of Paris’ and has long been a favourite of the Dutch royal family. Set between the Leidsestraat and the Vijzelstraat, the hotel is a short walk from the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, Dam Square and the flower market. All five rooms boast original period features such as exposed beams and a spiralled staircase, and they all offer generous windows overlooking either the tranquil garden or the picturesque canal. The rooms are free‑Wi‑Fi equipped, come with six pillows, an electric kettle with Twinings teas, a hairdryer, and a complimentary sheet of towels. Children up to six years old stay free of charge. The hotel reception is open from 8 am to 10 pm, with check‑in from 2 pm to 10 pm and early check‑out at 11 am. Guests can enjoy a beautifully landscaped garden, a comfortable lounge, and free fitness facilities, all set within a centuries‑old building that preserves the authentic Dutch ambience. With its historic character, family‑friendly policy, and convenient location, Hotel Keizershof offers an unforgettable blend of heritage and contemporary comfort.
