The St. Janskerk was completed in 1318. Today it is the oldest church of its kind in to be preserved in its original state in Haarlem. The entire complex; Cloister, hospital and church made up the Commanderij of St. Jan, one of the largest cloisters of the Order of Saint John in the Netherlands. Today the church houses the Noord-Hollands Archief (North-Holland Archive). Prot
