Kanis & Meiland 3.0
About
Kanis & Meiland is a café on the Levantkade on the spot where the pilots of the Royal Dutch Steamboat Company used to be. The café is popular and popular with the boat occupants of the quay, local residents and accidental and less accidental passers-by. People can find their way to the café from all over Amsterdam and the surrounding area. The terrace on the quay is beautiful and spacious. The vast water and modern city architecture in combination with old warehouses provide a surprisingly beautiful view, which can change color and atmosphere per hour of the day. Eight different beers flow from the tap, the wines are fresh, fruity or spicy - and the evening menu is surprisingly tasty and simple with three choices: fish, vega or meat. The choice for lunch is extensive, the coffee organic and fair-trade and there is even a tea card. It is the place to have a nice drink with friends, to relax, or just to stare in front of you and ponder life.
